Alabama commit Reuben Foster (Auburn, Ala./Auburn), the nation's No. 2 prospect, has called a news conference for 3 p.m. (ET) on Thursday. According to his high school coach, Tim Carter, the ESPN 150 inside linebacker intends to make a statement about his recruitment.
Foster has been committed to the Tide since July 2011, but has recently taken multiple visits to Auburn and Georgia.
"We are having a press conference in the school cafeteria," Carter said. "Reuben called me about it last night. He told me he wants to make an announcement. He wants to make a statement in this thing, so I don't think it will be a question-answer session or anything like that."
