Top performers
As the competition went on, the top performers started to separate themselves from the group. In the last drill of the day, the top six QBs -- Michigan commit Shane Morris (Warren, Mich./DeLaSalle), Notre Dame commit Malik Zaire (Kettering, Ohio/Archbishop Alter), Stanford commit Ryan Burns (Ashburn, Va./Stone Bridge), Max Staver (Brentwood, Tenn./Brentwood), Luke Del Rio (Jacksonville, Fla./Jacksonville Episcopal) and Purdue commit Danny Etling (Terre Haut, Ind./South Vigo) -- were put through a series of fast-paced passes consecutively. The drill simulated being in a pressure situation and gave the quarterbacks different checks and routes.
