Kohl's kicking camps recaps

DALLAS -- The Texas Showcase brought out many of the best specialists from the state of Texas and there are as many as 10 guys in state who are worthy of Division I consideration. This past weekend gave them an opportunity to separate themselves and prove they belong amongst the best in the nation.
Ty Cummings, from Southlake, Texas, showed why he has early offers from Division I schools by going 10-of-10 on field goals during the charting session and had a solid camp performance. He is someone who should continue to draw recruiting interest in the next couple of months.
Michael Barden showed Division I leg strength in both kicking and punting. He does need to continue to work on keeping his hips finishing square to his target to become more effective.
