JC stars look for second chance
The secret is out: There is plenty of talent to be found in the junior college ranks. The nation's top JCs have seen an influx of talent -- and of interest from recruiters. Our initial 2014 ESPN Junior College Watch List is just the starting point. Here are the names you need to know:
One and done:Wide receiver D'haquille Williams (Reserve, La./Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College) has a rare blend of size, speed and playmaking ability. The Auburn commitment who will likely take official visits to LSU and Florida State stands 6-foot-3, weighs 215 pounds and has the speed to take the top off of a defense. If he can stay healthy, Williams will very likely shoot up the draft boards after his junior year and has the ability to make the quick jump to the NFL. Williams played at East Saint John in Reserve, La., in high school.
