The ability to get to the quarterback and create pressure is one of the keys to being successful on defense. There are many ways to try and create pressure, but being able to get after the quarterback can be a key job description of the defensive end. With only two of the top 10 defensive ends currently committed, and three of those being listed at five stars, we took some of the more recognizable and obvious names out of the mix for this. That's not to say every prospect listed among the top 10 defensive ends is a strong pass-rusher at this stage, but let's shift the focus a little to some promising pass-rushers in this class who are beyond the top 10 and might not be as quick to come to mind.
Taking players in the top 10 out of the mix, here are five of the nation's best uncommitted pass-rushing defensive ends.
