Big Ten team takes home top class
We've assigned class grades and done our class rankings. Now it's time to see which schools brought in the best class at each position. When looking at the wide receivers and athletes, our list has a Midwest and Southern feel to it. While the SEC is well represented, it's a Big Ten team that brings home the best group.Jalin Marshall (Middletown, Ohio/Middletown), who is No. 49 in the ESPN 150, and Dontre Wilson (DeSoto, Texas/DeSoto), who is No. 55. Both could play in the backfield and make an impact in the return game. Four-star WR James Clark (New Smyrna Beach, Fla./New Smyrna) adds more speed and explosiveness. ESPN junior college 100 prospect Corey Smith (East Mississippi Community College) adds depth and experience. This is an area that Urban Meyer and his staff focused on, and we would expect most -- if not all -- of these prospects to see significant playing time and play quality roles early on. From a pure speed standpoint, the Buckeyes just got a lot faster with this class alone.
