RecruitingNation has dispatched a crew of writers to St. Petersburg, Fla., to cover all the happenings at this year's Under Armour All-America Game. With players updating their recruitment, revising their list of perspective schools and several others expected to commit during the Jan. 4 live broadcast (ESPN, 5. p.m. ET), we've decided to ring in the new year with a special UA Game-themed edition of #BlueChipBattles. We've ranked the top 10 battles going on for players competing in the UA Game but we want to hear from you, the fans. Just use #BlueChipBattles to comment on each player's spot or to predict which school is the best fit and how the coaching staff will make them a better player. We'll add the best tweets to the page later in the day.
Here is this week's panel of writers: Kipp Adams (@KippLAdams), Corey Long (@CoreyLong), Derek Tyson (@DerekTysonESPN), Mitch Sherman (@mitchsherman) and Corey Dowlar (@cdowlar).
What's your top 10?
Below is our list, but we're also giving you a shot at ranking the top 10 recruiting battles.
Crete (Ill.) Crete-Monee | WR | 6-3/195 | ESPN Rank: No. 20
Last week's #BlueChipBattles rank: No. 2
Commitment status: Uncommitted but could the nation's top WR be looking south?
Who's in the driver's seat: Ole Miss.
Other candidates: Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
Dark horse: Miami and Florida.
@coreylong's take: Word on the street is that Treadwell is already recruiting fellow uncommitted Under Armour All-America Game participants to join him at Ole Miss. That would obviously speak well of the Rebels' chances to land the nation's top wide receiver. Treadwell has an official scheduled for Jan. 11 to Oklahoma State and says he wants to make a decision soon after that. If he decides to take his final two officials, Miami and Florida would be candidates, but it's likely he would just be taking a trip for the enjoyment.
RecruitingNation ranks Treadwell's recruitment as the No. 10 battle in the country. Tweet us your opinion using the hashtag #BlueChipBattles @RecruitingESPN.
