Relationships with highly rated in-state prospects key for new Vols coach

Tennessee didn't land a big-name coach. After all of the rumors, the Volunteers hired Cincinnati's Butch Jones. The decision has created plenty of questions among their prospects.
Many were unsure who Jones was after the announcement was made Friday morning. Before the Vols hired him, they had made overtures to ESPN NFL analyst Jon Gruden, Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy and Louisville coach Charlie Strong.
