While Florida is down slightly on the offensive side, the defensive prospects in the Class of 2013 rival any group that has ever come out of the state.

Defensive backs are a staple of Florida supremacy, and this class is no different with five-star prospects Vernon Hargreaves III (Tampa, Fla./Wharton) and Mackensie Alexander (Immokalee, Fla./Immokalee) and ESPN 150 prospects Leon McQuay (Seffner, Fla./Armwood), Marcell Harris (Orlando, Fla./Dr. Phillips), Keanu Neal (Bushnell, Fla./South Sumter) and Artie Burns (Miami/Northwestern) making their impact felt across the state.
