REDONDO BEACH, Calif. -- Here is a look at what jumped out to me on Day 2 of the Elite 11 finals.
Afternoon session
• Uncertainty creates indecision. Whatever you do -- even if you make a mistake -- be decisive and believe in the choice you make. As a quarterback becomes more comfortable with his receivers and more familiar with the offense and his surroundings, things will start happening faster. But the moment you start seeing a quarterback pat the football, you know bad things are about to happen. DeVante Kincade (Dallas/Skyline) and Johnny Stanton (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif./Santa Margarita) did a nice job with decisiveness. Brice Ramsey (Kingsland, Ga./Camden County) held the ball a little too long and patted the ball a little too much.To continue reading this article you must be an Insider
