Elite 11 finals Day 1 notes

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. -- Even Sesame Street's youngest viewers wouldn't have a problem solving this year's Elite 11 version of "One of these things is not like the other."
With 25 high school quarterbacks in attendance at Redondo Union High School, 24 of them can proudly don hats, jackets and various apparel of the university they will be attending in 2013. The other is Zack Greenlee.
Recruiting progressed slowly for the 6-foot-2, 187-pound quarterback from Stockton (Calif.) Lincoln, but standout performances at the Oakland and Las Vegas Elite 11 regionals earned him a spot in the finals. It also earned him attention from Fresno State, which offered shortly thereafter and still stands as his lone scholarship opportunity.
