The Opening: Day 2 notes

BEAVERTON, Ore. -- Excuse quarterback Brice Ramsey (Kingsland, Ga./Camden County) if he takes advantage of the extra throwing repetitions more than the other quarterbacks.

The ESPN 150 quarterback has spent much of his last two offseasons throwing the ball as much as possible. Whether it's a showcase in front of observers or a camp in front of college coaches, ask Ramsey to throw and there's a good chance he'll respond positively.

Once the season starts Ramsey will be back in Camden County's successful wing-T offense. The run-based offense has been very successful for Camden County but not exactly a dream situation for one of the nation's top quarterbacks.
