MIRAMAR, Fla. -- With several top 2013 prospects either taking the ACT test or attending college team camps this weekend, many underclassmen took this opportunity to make a name for themselves at the Under Armor Sevens 7-on-7 tournament on Saturday.
One of the top quarterbacks on hand, 2014 prospect Hunter Boyett (Palmetto Bay, Fla./Westminster Christian), who helped lead his team to a top-four finish, is starting to see his recruitment pick up.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound signal-caller said he is receiving interest from Florida, Mississippi State, Miami, Princeton and Yale and believes that Miami and Mississippi State are very close to offering him a scholarship. Boyett, who has a 4.2 GPA, will camp at Mississippi State on Tuesday and Florida on Friday and will also try to attend Miami's summer camp.
