CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Three of the West's top uncommitted defensive backs competed at the Phoenix Under Armour Sevens and each of them continue to tease the nation's elite programs. Priest Willis (Tempe, Ariz./Marcos De Niza), an Under Armour All-American who's No. 62 in the ESPN 150 and the nation's No. 6 safety, has 34 offers from many of the nation's elite programs, including Florida, LSU, Oregon, Nebraska, USC and Oklahoma. With so many schools taking interest, Willis is struggling to narrow his list of choices. He said on Saturday that he'd like to get down between 12 to 15 by next month, but it's taken him longer than expected to complete his own background research on coaching staffs. "The recruiting process, it is just hard to cut off the BS and see if the coach is really there for you or if he just wants to use you," Willis said. "My dad has been around and can tell if someone is lying and someone who is really truly going to be there for me. And with the Internet, the background stuff doesn't lie. They're recruiting me, I'm recruiting them."
