PITTSBURGH, Pa. --
Taquan Mizzell is used to covering a lot of ground quickly. He'll have to do the same in recruiting.
The four-star running back from Virginia Beach (Va.) Bayside said he'd like to announce his college decision before his senior season, yet he's only taken one visit due to a lack of transportation. Mizzell did make the trip to Virginia. He tried recently to make it to some junior days but was unable to. So the Cavaliers have made the first -- and only -- impression.
"It was great," Mizzell said of the trip during the Pittsburgh New Level seven-on-seven tournament. "I have a great relationship with the coaches. They showed me and my mom a lot of love. It was a chance for me to hang out with players. It was great all around."
