Tigers secure their QB future
With two seniors set to leave, LSU landed a potential replacement in Gunner Kiel

With a Heisman finalist, a No. 1 national ranking and a looming national championship rematch, LSU football already had gained plenty of notoriety in 2011.
The Tigers took that spotlight and ran with it Tuesday, adding No. 2 quarterback prospect Gunner Kiel to an impressive 2012 recruiting class.
The coup is just another chapter in a storybook season for LSU and coach Les Miles, and it demonstrates a national presence the program hasn't previously been accustomed to.
