Cal prepares for huge weekend
As many as 22 prospects could be on hand, and Cal could reap windfall of commits

Cal could have as many as 22 players on campus for what will be the biggest recruiting weekend for any Pac-12 school this year. There's a strong mix of committed and non-committed players, and even the state's top recruit will be on hand taking an unofficial visit for good measure.
On big weekends like this, it's always wise to have a few committed players on hand to help sell the program when the coaches aren't around and the Bears have their top guy on hand for that. Quarterback Zach Kline (Danville, Calif./San Ramon Valley) is easily among the most outgoing, extroverted kids in the 2012 class and he has been preaching the gospel of Cal football since the day he committed.
"Heck yeah, I'm going to be recruiting hard this weekend," Kline said. "I want great players to play with and we already have a big-time class coming in and if we get the players I think we can get, this class is going to be very special."
