La'Darius Newbold still looking around

Three-star athlete La'Darius Newbold (Lancaster, Texas) committed to Texas Tech in June, but like many commits nationwide, he fully understands that verbal commitments are nonbinding, and there's nothing wrong with looking around at other schools.

While Newbold confirmed he is still bound for Tech, he is planning on making a visit to Arkansas during the holidays. He said the trip will serve as a means of confirmation on his Tech commitment.
