With North Carolina's hearing before the NCAA Committee on Infractions to be held Friday, coaches in Chapel Hill are just trying to keep their 2012 class from falling apart. No easy task. North Carolina faces possible severe penalties after former assistant coach John Blake allegedly facilitated contact between UNC players and agents. The ensuing investigation ousted Blake and resulted in the suspension of many key players last season and, eventually, the firing of coach Butch Davis in July.
