ACC recruiting breakdown

Here's a look at how programs in the ACC are faring on the recruiting trail heading into national signing day on Feb. 5.
ESPN 300 commitments: 1
Who they have: The Eagles were an afterthought on the recruiting trail the past few years, even in their own region. But coach Steve Addazio has a lit a fire under the program with the "Be a dude" motto. He got the ball rolling with a pivotal piece in three-star RB Marcus Outlow (Norwich, Conn./Norwich Free Academy), who had several big-time suitors. The running back class is impressive with ESPN 300 back Jonathan Hilliman (Jersey City, N.J./St. Peter's Prep), Outlow and three-star Richard Wilson (Beverly Hills, Mich./Detroit Country Day). It was a bit of a surprise the Eagles were able to close with four-star Harold Landry (Fayetteville, N.C./Pine Forest), who at one point decommitted but is now enrolled for the spring semester. Although it is a good sign that Addazio landed a talent like Landry out of North Carolina, the key for BC is the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, and Addazio is faring much better in those areas than the previous staff. Four-star Connor Strachan (Wellesley, Mass./St. Sebastian's) was a big in-state addition, and three-star quarterback Darius Wade hails from Middletown (Del.) High. Nineteen commits come from states in the Northeast and upper Mid-Atlantic. The Flutie name will also be back on a BC jersey this fall, as Troy Flutie (Natick, Mass./Natick), son of Darren and nephew of Doug, committed in June.
Who they want: It would not be a shock if the Eagles did not add another commit before signing day, and the plan very well may be to lie low and just keep working on the 2015 class. Among a few names to keep an eye on is three-star quarterback A.J. Bush (Norcross, Ga./Norcross), who officially visited Jan. 17. Bush does not have an offer, however. Defensive tackle Oseh Saine (Worcester, Mass./Worcester Academy) holds a BC offer, but the postgraduate prospect won't sign until after signing day.
