COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio state tournament allowed some of the state's best players to compete in the final stanza of a long and spectacular high school season. Here is a look at who stood out and which teams prevailed:
2012, SG, 6-5, 185 pounds
College: Ohio
He is one of the most improved players in Ohio. He was a 5-9 guard as a freshman and has continued to grow physically and from a talent standpoint. Caris is very good off the dribble, has the ability to create his own shot and has a chance to be a special talent at the next level if he continues to improve.
Standout players
Caris Levert (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington Central)2012, SG, 6-5, 185 pounds
