The early signing period gets interesting Thursday when Alex Poythress (Clarksville, Tenn./Northeast) and Robert Carter (Thomasville, Ga./Shiloh), a pair of top-25 prospects, are expected to announce their decisions. However, we've learned that the Class of 2012 holds on tightly to its secrets and shuns rumors. It's a group capable of surprising fan bases, and it's not finished.
Early vs. late
To sign or not to sign? That is the question facing a handful of the nation's elite players this week. Shabazz Muhammad (Las Vegas/Bishop Gorman), No. 1 overall, won't sign.
