Ranking the Kentucky classes
How do John Calipari's five UK recruiting classes stack up?
Every time Paul Biancardi and I sit on the ESPNU set for a "Recruiting Nation" show, the subject of Kentucky basketball recruiting inevitably comes up.
Last year, Paul declared that UK's 2011 class was the best of the John Calipari era at Kentucky. Well, that prognostication worked out well for Mr. Biancardi as Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist delivered an NCAA championship and then went 1-2 in the NBA draft.
So with both a historic run of recruiting success over the past five years and the hype of UK's current 2013 class, let's evaluate and rank Kentucky's five classes under Calipari.
Where does this year's much-hyped Kentucky recruiting class rank among John Calipari's five classes with the Wildcats? Become an ESPN Insider and find out.
