Charlotte Hoops Challenge recap

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte Hoops Challenge was good enough for Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan to buzz by (his nephew plays for one of the teams). The action at Waddell High School provided a number of seniors and underclassmen a chance to test their skills in an early-season showcase setting.

Evan Nolte (Milton, Ga./Milton)
2012, SF, 6-7, 190 pounds
College: Virginia
The Virginia Cavaliers have to be pleased because Mike Tobey (Ramsey, N.J./Blair) and Nolte played well in back-to-back weekends. Nolte is smart and skilled with the ability to drive to the post and knock down 3s. He'll be a strong college player and his transition to college ball should be seamless given his skill set. He's also less stationary than he was a year ago.
