Arizona, Colorado standing out early

Now that the early signing period is off and running, here is a look at a few things that are standing out to us involving the 2012 class.
Which program are you most impressed with so far?
Paul Biancardi: I am impressed, but not surprised, by second-year Iowa coach Fran McCaffery's class. He hit a home run by keeping some local major talent at home. As soon as he got the job a year ago, he and his staff honed in on PG Mike Gesell (Sioux City, Neb./South Sioux City) and C Adam Woodbury (Sioux City, Iowa/East) and landed these two standouts. Overall, this class has quality, quantity and it will be the foundation for McCaffery as he builds Iowa into a winner in the Big Ten.To continue reading this article you must be an Insider
