Here are a few things to pay attention to in the WCC as the NCAA basketball season nears and signing day is around the corner:
Bell is one of three potent freshmen -- Kevin Pangos and Kyle Dranginis are the others -- who will infiltrate the Zags' backcourt immediately. Bell is a strong 2-guard who may remind Zags fans of recent graduate Steven Gray. Although Bell is a bit shorter than Gray, he can stick the 3-point shot with regularity and he understands how to get open for his shot. Bell is physically ready for the Division I level, and unlike most freshmen, his game should adapt rather smoothly. Although Bell is the most highly acclaimed of the three freshmen, Pangos may have more of an impact because he is a true point guard who possesses savvy beyond his years.
