Florida Gulf Coast's Brett Comer, ETSU's Rashawn Rembert should have quick impact

Here are a few things to pay attention to in the Atlantic Sun as the NCAA basketball season tips off and signing day is around the corner:

Florida Gulf Coast coach Andy Enfield and staff came out swinging in their first year as they scrambled in the late signing period to find the best available players, and they found a gem in Comer. While he may have been known for playing alongside Duke commit Austin Rivers, there is a good chance Comer will create his own headlines at Florida Gulf Coast. He is a tough, hard-nosed leader who knows how to run a team. He plays like a savvy veteran and is a smart and crafty passer who has fared well against some of the best point guards in the country. Comer will get thrown into the fire immediately and should thrive on the challenge of leading the Eagles out of the cellar of the Atlantic Sun. He has also shown the ability to score and should provide FGC with a playmaker who can go get his own shot when the offense breaks down.
