Here are a few things to pay attention to in the Mountain West as the NCAA basketball season nears and signing day is around the corner:
This season, in regards to impact performers, it appears the Mountain West Conference has a bit of an Australian-esque feel to it. Greenwood, who was one of five named First Team All-U-19 at the World Championships, possesses an impressive skill set as well as contagious energy at both ends. The lanky wing-type has an innate ability to score as well as the IQ for the game to make others better with the pass. Whether it's draining a 3-point shot or locating a teammate with a nifty assist, he has the whole skill package at the 1, 2 or 3. Due to his savvy and international experience, he should mesh well with the MWC Freshman of the Year Kendall Williams.
