Sweat is a big and smooth receiver with adequate-to-good foot speed, but more importantly he is a deep threat because he knows how to set defenders up and he makes a ton of plays on the deep ball when contested. He lean and lanky, but not uncoordinated. Shows very good body control and awareness for the sideline and he is an excellent leaper. Comes off the ball with surge and gets into routes quickly. Climbs the ladder to top speed, but does not lumber to get there. Can be very sneaky in his ability to create separation on skinny posts, digs and go routes. Possesses a very wide catch radius to haul in passes thrown outside of his frame and rarely allows a deep or jump ball to get into his frame--high points and plucks away from defenders. Sweat shows some wiggle to elude DBs after the catch in the underneath passing game and is pretty fluid overall in his change-of-direction. Plucks on the run underneath, tucks and gets upfield without wasting any motion. With added bulk and strength Sweat could develop into a fine redzone guy because he natural extends and fights for the ball. Where Sweat can be raw is in the intermediate passing game as a route runner. Can run high and gear down into breaks telegraphing his intentions. He is not a burner in terms of speed, but he is athletic and compensates in other ways.
