Notre Dame added one for good measure on Tuesday and jumped up to No. 9 in the final class rankings. The addition of five-star ATH Davonte Neal (Scottsdale, Ariz./Chaparral) allowed the Fighting Irish to swap places with Clemson, which is now No. 10.
While Florida State might have made the biggest splash with some big commits announcing on signing day, it was Alabama that ended up with the nation's top class.
The Crimson Tide didn't have any signing day theatrics -- the addition of ESPNU 150 DT Korren Kirven (Lynchburg, Va./Brookville) was about their only surprise -- but remain in the top spot, followed by FSU, Texas, Florida and Georgia.
Ohio State wasn't even in the top 25 before Urban Meyer took over, but now the Buckeyes sit at No. 6, followed by Michigan, Miami, Notre Dame and Clemson. Stanford (No. 12), USC (No. 13), Washington (No. 23), Rutgers (No. 24) and Virginia Tech all had strong finishes, as well.
