Jones has that prototypical D-I frame with long arms and his quickness and speed are high-level. He has the ability to break down defenders at will off the dribble and he can get into the lane with ease. His jump shot is legitimate out to the stripe and he gets great lift on it.
He has a tendency to force the issue with the dribble (can be turnover prone) and strong defenders can get into him and cause him to get off balance. In addition, he needs to continue to learn the nuances of the point guard position (game management, etc.).
Jones, who is the son of ESPN broadcaster Mark Jones, was definitely a revelation at the Mission Prep Christmas Classic. He has a nice upside and is basically a steal for Presbyterian.
