Wilson, T-Magic take Heisman stage
Robinson still leads, but Nebraska-Wisconsin holds key to Heisman race this week
Because of a lack of meaningful games involving the Heisman contenders, the Predictor's top 10 remains relatively untouched this week.
Next week, however, will be a different story.
In this season's first game between established Heisman contenders, Taylor Martinez will lead his Nebraska Cornhuskers into Madison to take on Russell Wilson and the Wisconsin Badgers in a battle of top-10 teams.
Both quarterbacks are off to fast starts, but the Heisman race doesn't really heat up until October -- and Martinez and Wilson know that all too well. At this time a season ago Martinez and Wilson were fourth and fifth, respectively, in the Heisman Predictor but both had been eliminated from the discussion by Week 7.
While there is a long road and a tough Big Ten schedule ahead for each, the journey begins this weekend.
