Best CFB bets for Week 5
Ole Miss, California among weekend's 10 best value picks
Week 4 left us impressed with Stanford, Utah, Missouri, Wyoming and Mississippi State, among others, but didn't do much to change which teams we've been buying or selling. A 6-4 mark against the number puts us at 21-19 for the season.
This week, in what is a more westerly slate than usual, we stay on the offensive against some schools we've been consistently fading and endorse a trio of home teams in competitively priced contests.
Stay aggressive when it comes to this sinking Central Michigan team. The Chips were already scheduled for a losing campaign, but the season turned sour early with serious injuries to bell cow rusher Zurlon Tipton and quarterback Cody Kater, followed by a blown three-touchdown lead in a loss at UNLV. This team hasn't covered a game yet this year, and it should be at least another week, as there's nothing favorable about a long road trip to step up in class against a coaching staff that knows Central well (from Wolfpack coach Dave Doeren's time at Northern Illinois).
Score: North Carolina State 49, Central Michigan 0
