Todd McShay ranks the most difficult individual matchups in college football

With the 2013 college football kickoff just two weeks away, head coaches and coordinators across the country have had time to create game plans geared to defeat upcoming opponents on both sides of the ball.
But some players are more difficult to account for than others, which is why I've put together a ranking of the top 10 matchup nightmares in college football -- the guys who require the most attention because of their ability to single-handedly take over a game.
I gave some thought to separating out the quarterbacks from the rest of the guys on this list, given the importance of that position and the focus QBs command from opposing defenses, but ultimately decided to leave them all in one list (mixed among defensive players, running backs and receivers) and ranked my top 10 according to which guys create the biggest challenges for opponents relative to others at their position.
Here you have it: the 10 most difficult individual matchups in college football.
1. Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M Aggies
Obviously, this is assuming no off-field transgressions keep him from playing this season, but if Manziel is on the field, there is simply no player in the country who strikes more fear in opposing defenses or requires more game-planning attention than Manziel.
