The latest BCS bowl projections
Notre Dame-Alabama and the rest of the BCS bowl matchups
Perhaps the biggest surprise of Rivalry Week was the lack of BCS-altering upsets, as none of the top nine teams in the BCS standings lost (and No. 10, Florida State, lost only because it had to face the fourth-ranked Gators).
However, there is still a lot to be determined in the BCS bowl picture, starting with which team Notre Dame will be playing in the BCS National Championship Game.
Let's take a look at our latest BCS bowl projections and the next teams in line for each bid.

Current prediction: Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Next up for Alabama's spot: Georgia
Notre Dame is a lock as the nation's No. 1 team after its win over USC on Saturday, and the SEC title game will effectively act as a national semifinal, with the winner of Alabama-Georgia earning a berth in the BCS National Championship Game.
For Florida fans hoping that, in the event of a Georgia win, some voters might try to get cute and put the Gators ahead of the Bulldogs on their ballot, because UGA's loss to South Carolina was by such a large margin, I'm sorry, but I just don't see it happening.
