Handicapping the BCS title race
Mel and Todd agree on Alabama, but not on who comes next in line
During the college football season, Mel Kiper and Todd McShay kick off each week by settling a debate, and then they discuss emerging NFL prospects and look ahead to next week.
The discussion: How do you see the BCS title race playing out?
Todd McShay: I've been blown away with what I've seen this season from Florida, Kansas State and Notre Dame. The Gators' résumé is phenomenal, the Wildcats have been a model of doing the little things right (and QB Collin Klein has been awesome), and the Fighting Irish have the best front seven outside the SEC.
But if we're talking about how I think the BCS race will play out, and not about what's been accomplished so far, two teams stand out to me. Here's why I think Alabama and Oregon are the two best teams in the country and will end up playing for the national championship.
