Is Bama more talented than LSU?
Todd McShay and Mel Kiper break down Bama-LSU, and note rising NFL stock
Each week during the college football season, Mel Kiper and Todd McShay kick off the week by settling a debate, then will look at emerging NFL prospects and look ahead to next week.
The discussion: The Tigers are hyped, but after this dominating performance, should we believe Alabama is more talented than LSU?
Todd McShay: Alabama held a noticeable advantage over LSU last season when it came to NFL prospects, because so many of its top players were third-, fourth- and fifth-year guys. But in reality there wasn't much of a difference in overall talent levels between the two teams -- the Crimson Tide just had more experienced talent than the Tigers.
