Les Miles and Nick SabanMarvin Gentry/US PresswireNo matter what happens this weekend, it's likely Les Miles and Nick Saban will face off in the BCS title.

While it's highly unlikely (but not impossible) for the results of this coming week to create a BCS title game matchup other than LSU vs. Alabama, there is still a lot yet to unfold in terms of which teams will land in the other BCS bowls. Here's a look at my projected BCS matchups and the next teams up for each of the 10 BCS bids.

Allstate BCS National Championship Game

When: Jan. 9, 2012, 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN

Current prediction: LSU Tigers vs. Alabama Crimson Tide

Next up for BCS No. 1 and No. 2 spots: Oklahoma State

The only team that could conceivably jump ahead of LSU, if the Tigers were to lose in the SEC championship game to Georgia, is Oklahoma State. That's because the next-closest teams in the polls, Stanford and Virginia Tech, rank behind both LSU and Alabama in the computers.
