Morris Claiborne is a top-10 pick
The LSU cornerback had a terrific performance against the Alabama Crimson Tide
Now that Week 10 of the college football season is in the books, here is my stock report from this past weekend's games. As always, I'll examine players who played well during the weekend and helped their stocks rise while also looking at the players who disappointed and caused their stocks to fall. This week, a couple of defensive prospects in the LSU-Bama showdown helped their stocks rise.
Texas Longhorns RB Joe Bergeron
Bergeron was the driving force in the Longhorns' dominating rushing performance in a 52-20 rout of Texas Tech. He ran for 191 yards on 29 carries and scored three touchdowns, while as a team Texas piled up 439 rushing yards. It is the second 100-yard game of the season for the freshman, who wasn't expected to be this productive and is getting his chances in large part because Malcolm Brown is battling a turf toe. Bergeron is a power runner who benefits from an offensive line that has gotten more physical in recent weeks, adding a dimension that has been missing in Texas for the past several years.
