Sweat began the official visit process Sept. 6, taking a trip to Ohio State. He suffered a season-ending knee surgery at the end of September which has delayed his visit process. Virginia Tech had been thought to be the team to beat for months, but summer trips to Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State and Tennessee closed the gap. The Hokies' big win over Ohio State is another shot in the arm for the favorite, and make no mistake, this is a must-get recruit for Virginia Tech.
