Marlin Lane wants to play for Clemson
January, 13, 2011
Four-star Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland RB Marlin Lane says he's still committed to Clemson and wants to play for the Tigers. But there are some reports saying Clemson might not be as interested in having him anymore. "I committed there as a sophomore and have been up there three times," Lane said. "I love Clemson and I want to play at Clemson. I have loved them my entire life. I even have a Clemson tattoo on my shoulder." There's no denying his love to play for the Clemson Tigers. Lane, who is the No. 11 running back in the country, says trouble started brewing once he elected to make a few official visits, something he says was initially OK with the Clemson staff.
