Just as they have since 1890, the Ohio State Buckeyes will play football this fall. It will be a different sort of season, though. Due to the Buckeyes' one-year postseason ban, there's already an eye toward 2013.
OSU figures to be pretty good in 2012, a top-20 sort of team (they are No. 20 in College Football Live's countdown); it could be exceptionally good in 2013. Think of Ohio State, now with Urban Meyer running the program, as potentially next year's version of the USC Trojans: left in perceived ruin by NCAA sanctions, then producing a quick rebound thanks to some combo of talent and coaching.
