DURHAM, N.C. -- On Wednesday ESPN did not have a camera set up in the Duke Blue Devils' war room. No ESPNU 150 prospect sat at a table and drew raucous applause from a live national television audience as he picked up a Blue Devils ball cap and pulled it onto his head.
There was no media fanfare and no "fax cam," an atmosphere much more common among the 120 schools playing FBS football than the coverage zoo surrounding the likes of the Alabama Crimson Tide, USC Trojans and Texas Longhorns.
