Wide receiver Rob Lockhart (Boca Raton, Fla./West Boca Raton) could have waited until national signing day, but the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder knew where he wanted to go.
Monday night, the two-sport standout committed to Virginia Tech to play football.
"I was ready to get the process over with," Lockhart said. "Signing day is a big deal but I didn't feel the need to wait."
