• Senior athlete Cyrus Jones will indeed take an unofficial visit to the West Virginia-LSU game on Saturday, along with junior quarterback/safety Shane Cockerille, who was recently offered by Maryland, as was sophomore linebacker Melvin Keihn.
• Junior linebacker Micah Kiser has been offered by Rutgers. He already holds scholarship offers from Florida, Maryland and Virginia.
• Junior defensive tackle Henry Poggi was just offered by Purdue. He holds over a dozen scholarship offers. Tennessee and Michigan have made favorable first impressions.
• Tailback Kenneth Goins was just offered by Navy. He holds offers from Syracuse, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh and Vanderbilt among others.
