Here’s what I’m looking for in Game 4 of the NLDS between the Philadelphia Phillies and St. Louis Cardinals, as well as Game 4 of the NLDS between the Milwaukee Brewers and Arizona Diamondbacks

Phillies and Cardinals


• Philadelphia starter Roy Oswalt is 5-0 with a 3.25 ERA in 10 postseason starts. He eliminated the Cardinals six years ago in Game 6 of the NLCS en route to a World Series appearance as a member of the Houston Astros. Oswalt also had a forgettable performance his last time in St. Louis, when he lasted just two innings while surrendering four runs in a 12-2 loss. But he gets the start out of respect for his leadership, track record and guts. However, if he falters, lots of folks will be wondering why manager Charlie Manuel didn't put Vance Worley in the postseason rotation, since he was much better than Oswalt this season.
