Gulutzan on hot seat?
By Victoria Matiash
Sitting 11th in the West with a 4-5-1 record, the Dallas Stars aren't off to the rollicking start for which they had hoped. Which is raising some questions about Glen Gulutzan's job security.
However, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News suggests the Dallas club is in no rush to make a change at the head coaching position. Not in the foreseeable future, anyway.
"There is frustration from everyone, including (Gulutzan) himself. But they believe in him, and this is only his second year at the NHL level. They'll have patience ... to a point."
After adding veterans Ray Whitney, Jaromir Jagr, and Derek Roy this past offseason, the Stars demonstrated their eagerness to make a serious playoff charge in 2012-13.
