When Lecavalier will return

It appears that Vincent Lecavalier managed to avoid a serious injury when he was hit on his left foot by a slap shot by teammate Sami Salo at the very end of Saturday's 3-2 loss to the New York Rangers. X-rays and an MRI confirmed that he suffered no breaks in his foot, only a bone bruise, according to Damian Cristodero of the Tampa Bay Times. Lecavalier iced it and plans to play against the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday.
"It definitely could have been worse," he said. "We'll re-evaluate it (today), but I think it will be fine for Tuesday."
At this point, it appears safe to use Lecavalier in fantasy leagues that set weekly lineups on Monday. Barring a setback, it looks like he will simply tough it out. The Tampa Bay Lightning play four games this week.
