Hornqvist's 'replacement'

By Victoria Matiash

The Nashville Predators are forced to fiddle with their lineup, now that Patric Hornqvist is out three to four weeks with a sprained knee.

Josh Cooper of The Tennessean suggests Paul Gaustad may continue to fill in for Hornqvist, as far as providing front-of-net presence on the top power-play unit.

"I watched a lot of film on Hornqvist. I think he’s one of the best in the league. Obviously I’m not him," the six-foot-five Gaustad said Monday. "I'm a little bit bigger. I think my thing is screening and not as much tipping the pucks."

As far as even-strength play goes, coach Barry Trotz has forward Sergei Kostitsyn on a line with winger Gabriel Bourque and center David Legwand.
