Another injured Flyer

By Victoria Matiash

Big loss for the Philadelphia Flyers' blue line.

According to Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren, defenseman Andrej Meszaros could miss four weeks with a shoulder injury. At least.

"Andrej Meszaros has a left shoulder injury. He's going to miss some time and right now we're hopeful it's going to be a four-week rehabilitation of the injury. It's a muscle injury in and around the shoulder joint and we just have to get it strong. We believe he's going to be out for about a month."

You can imagine how this loss might magnify the interest in trading for the rights to restricted free agent P.K. Subban. One way or another, the Flyers will have to bring in another blue-line body.
